Jennifer Maher
Jennifer is a Catholic Psychotherapist and Clinical Traumatologist, who graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. It was through this experience that she learned the importance of looking at her clientele through the lens of Catholic Anthropology and the Catholic Christian Meta-Model of the Person. Given her focus was to specialize in trauma, she was able to receive additional training through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology.
Jennifer is also an Internal Family Systems Therapist/Coach and EMDR trained. And throughout the years, she continued sharpening her IFS skills by attending Stepping Stones with Derek Scott, Colleen West’s Master Class: Healing Complex Trauma with IFS, Liz Phillip’s Introduction to IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out), and Parts Mapping with Lois A. Ehrmann PhD.
Jennifer has traveled worldwide and throughout the United States, working with trauma survivors for several years and specializes in working with first responders, individuals, and young adults. She believes in meeting individuals where they are, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore ways that help them overcome challenges so they can flourish and achieve set goals.
She looks forward to accompanying anyone looking to roll up their sleeves to gain a deeper understanding of their internal world so they can become who they are.
